Financial Specialist

  • A position is available for a skilled and experienced financial specialist to join our organization.
Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • General bookkeeping tasks, such as recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and tracking expenses, will also be an essential part of this role.
  • The candidate should possess strong knowledge of depreciation models and accounting principles to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Additionally, the selected individual will be required to assist with financial audits and prepare necessary documentation as required.
Requirements
  • The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field.
  • It is expected that the candidate has 2+ years of experience within a client-facing position.
  • Experience working within a startup company is also highly desirable.
  • The successful applicant should be proficient in QuickBooks and have experience working within the Bill.com platform.
  • A strong understanding of general bookkeeping, depreciation models, reconciliation, and accounting principles is essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills are also required, along with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is also essential.
  • Experience in data analysis and performing cost-benefit analysis is also highly desirable.
