Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our auditing team at Digital Consulting PH. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning and administration of audit tasks, drafting financial statements, preparing budgets, and conducting thorough financial audits.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements for a diverse client base
Prepare and draft accurate financial statements in accordance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
Develop, review, and analyze budgets, providing insights and recommendations to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency
Execute thorough financial audits, examining records and transactions to verify accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards
Cross-verify financial data from various sources to ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting
Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide clear explanations of audit procedures
Stay updated on the latest accounting and auditing standards, regulations, and industry trends

Qualifications

A CPA license is not required but would be advantageous
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in audit or a related field
Additional certifications or specialized training in auditing or accounting are a plus
Experience with Australian methodologies is beneficial
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Familiarity with accounting software, specifically Caseware, and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
Good knowledge of IFRS
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and auditing tasks
Strong analytical abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and effective communication, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
