Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll and accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial operations, with a focus on payroll management and accounting tasks. Key responsibilities include:
- Processing and managing payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Assisting in maintaining accurate financial records, including data entry, reconciliations, and general ledger tasks.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all payments are processed promptly.
- Utilizing Xero accounting software for payroll, invoicing, and financial reporting.
- Performing regular audits of financial records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Generating reports for internal use and management reviews.
- Maintaining confidentiality and secure payroll data.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a financial or accounting role.
- Proficiency in Xero and Excel is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
