Job Description:
Auditor
An Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial systems and accounts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting audits, identifying areas of concern, and working to rectify any problems found during the audit.
Main Responsibilities:
• Conduct audits on financial records and accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Identify areas of concern and work to rectify any problems found during the audit
• Prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and regulations
• Verify assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation
• Maintain internal control systems by updating audit programs and questionnaires, and recommending new policies and procedures
• Communicate audit findings by preparing a final report and discussing findings with auditees
Requirements:
• Background in accountancy
• At least 1-year related experience for Graduates of Accountancy
• Additional distinctions or certifications can be an advantage
• Knowledge of Statement of Financial Accounting Standards (SFAS)
• Legal compliance
• Documentation skills
• Understanding of applicable accounting and banking laws
• Presentation skills
• Proficient computer skills on MS Office, accounting software, and databases
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
