Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Pharmacist Assistant to support our healthcare team remotely. This is an exceptional opportunity for a licensed pharmacist to utilize their expertise in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contact pharmacies to confirm receipt of transferred prescriptions and verify fulfillment, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Communicate updates to patients, prescribers, and pharmaceutical manufacturers efficiently, maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Provide professional, compassionate support to patients by confirming they received their transferred prescriptions, addressing any concerns, and ensuring a positive experience.
  • Accurately record all interactions and updates in our pharmacy operating system, maintaining complete and detailed records.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of transfer and follow-up activities, providing valuable insights into patient care.
  • Link compounded medications to specific prescription numbers and manage prescription data across multiple systems and tools with ease.
Requirements:
  • Licensed and registered pharmacist with an active license, demonstrating commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in a pharmacy or related healthcare setting, showcasing expertise and adaptability.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Virtual Assistant in a healthcare or pharmacy-related role, highlighting ability to work independently and effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear and concise interaction with patients, prescribers, and colleagues.
  • High attention to detail, particularly in documentation and data accuracy, ensuring precision and quality in all aspects of the role.
  • Proficient with software programs and comfortable navigating multiple systems, leveraging technology to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Able to work independently in a fully remote environment, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline.
  • Experience in specialty pharmacy is a plus, offering opportunities for growth and development.
