Logistics Billing Specialist Sought

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Billing Specialist with a strong background in accounting or law, within a logistics or warehousing environment. In this role, you will focus on auditing software systems and UPS/FedEx invoices to identify and resolve discrepancies. Your expertise will ensure operational accuracy, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough audits of UPS/FedEx invoices to identify billing errors, overcharges, and discrepancies.
  • Review and assess software systems for accuracy, compliance, and process efficiency.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed reports and summaries of audit findings with actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and implement controls to prevent future discrepancies and optimise processes.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards related to shipping and billing.
Requirements
  • Proven accounting experience, specifically within a logistics or warehousing company.
  • Proven experience in auditing, invoicing, billing and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with UPS/FedEx billing systems is a plus.
  • Proficiency in auditing tools and software; advanced skills in MS Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Arrangements
  • You would work remotely for this role.
  • This role would require you to work in the US shift timings.
