Job Title: Financial Compliance Specialist

Are you an expert in tax and accounting who can provide high-quality services to clients? We are seeking a skilled Financial Compliance Specialist to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in financial planning, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial statements and tax returns to clients, as well as handling regulatory submissions such as Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR), and other ad-hoc compliance obligations.

To succeed in this role, you must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain clear and professional communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and tax returns for sole traders, companies, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Handle regulatory submissions such as Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR), and other ad-hoc compliance obligations.
  • Stay updated on financial and taxation regulations to ensure compliance across accounting and taxation services.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients to provide updates and address queries.
  • Ensure on-time lodgement of tax returns, regulatory submissions, and other compliance documents.
  • Perform other accounting and tax-related tasks as assigned, including support for audits or advisory services.
Requirements / Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an Australian Tax Accountant.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
