The Human Resources General Manager oversees HR processes across North Asia, implementing key initiatives and ensuring compliance with regional legislation.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Regional Heads to design and implement critical HR projects, fostering a culture of change and engagement.
- Develop HR objectives and strategies that align with business needs.
- Implement effective HR policies to enhance business performance.
- Standardize HR processes for consistency across the region.
- Oversee HR process development and implementation.
- Suggest the HR budget plan for the region, ensuring resource allocation for HR initiatives.
- Promote understanding of the regional reward philosophy and align it with global rewards strategy.
- Provide guidance on talent management and develop sustainable talent pipelines.
- Implement an Employee Relations strategy addressing employee concerns and enhancing the HR value proposition.
- Offer operational support for HR Business Partners and guide regional teams on risk management and compliance measures.
- Execute HR projects in the region, adhering to established standards and objectives.
- Coordinate performance assessment programs and employee satisfaction surveys.
- Manage and develop regional HR Business Partners through effective performance management, training, and career development initiatives.
- Establish succession planning frameworks identifying future leaders.
- Support corporate governance within the region, ensuring alignment with organizational principles, policies, and regulations.
- Promote responsible use of natural resources and ensure compliance with environment and health policies.
- Drive sustainability initiatives within HR, achieving environmental and social targets.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field.
- Experience: Over 7 years of work experience in Human Resources, with multicultural exposure and team management expertise.
- Behavioral Competencies: Communication, Quality and Service Orientation, Delivering Results, Digital Fluency, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Orientation, Agility, Leadership, Networking, Entrepreneurship.
