Professional AR Collections Expert Wanted

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of AR Collections Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable processes efficiently, reviewing and following up on outstanding balances, and communicating with patients, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze AR aging reports to identify delinquency levels and prioritize collection efforts accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the billing and coding team to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.
  • Utilize Athena Health EMR system to track and manage accounts receivable activities effectively.
  • Identify and resolve billing discrepancies and payment posting errors.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to optimize revenue cycles and improve cash flow.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable management or similar role in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of medical billing and insurance claims processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using Athena Health EMR system is required.
