Accounts Receivable Specialist

This is a key role in our organization, where you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable transactions. You will maintain accurate client records, resolve billing discrepancies, and support debt collection efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute and oversee the monthly billing run to ensure accuracy and timely invoice generation.
  • Monitor incoming payments and accounts according to established financial policies and procedures.
  • Generate AR reports and statements that provide clear visibility into receivables.
  • Reconcile debtor balances and produce aged debt reports to support collection activity.
  • Resolve client billing issues promptly and maintain a professional rapport across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate intercompany records and support AR integration for new business activity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance invoicing workflows, including Salesforce and general ledger processes.
  • Recommend and implement system/process improvements to optimize AR operations.
  • Comply with internal controls and policy guidelines while monitoring and reporting breaches.
Requirements
  • Experience working in the financial services sector.
  • Experience using large ERP systems such as Workday or Oracle.
  • Extensive experience with AR processes and multiple billing runs per month.
  • Experience answering client queries and interacting with stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.
  • Experience reporting in a KPI driven environment.
  • Experience working in an environment with internal controls.
