Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment and other Trane products, offering corrective and preventive maintenance as well as after-sales technical support solutions.


This role requires strong problem-solving skills, relevant technical knowledge, and a customer-focused approach. You will work closely with customers to provide information and procedures to address their inquiries, concerns, and requests regarding Trane products and services.



Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned projects and tasks with high efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain open communication with customers, ensuring prompt updates on maintenance, repairs, and other service-related matters.
  • Supervise small teams as required, fostering cooperation between team members to achieve efficient delivery of projects.
  • Ensure that your team adheres to established policies and procedures, meeting agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and quality standards.
  • Analyze daily statistical data to inform resource allocation and improve service performance.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to develop and implement processes for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance, prioritizing workplace safety at all times.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college/university or equivalent experience in HVAC/R.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in HVAC-related fields.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, relevant technical expertise, and strong customer service orientation.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexible work habits and schedule.
  • Able to transfer technical knowledge to team members, enhancing service productivity.
  • Calm demeanor when dealing with challenging situations.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality and organizational policies.
