Job Title:

Platform Management Professional

Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Operation Management:

    • Implement changes and service requests according to predefined procedures (e.g. patch or bugfix deployment, maintenance activities);
    • Consolidate and endorse platform CI properties to the Configuration Manager;
    • Create reports on platform performance and problem status;
    • Execute platform security (create and maintain users, roles and privileges);
    • Assess and monitor platform performance;
    • Perform platform patching, tuning and hardening;
    • Forecast platform growth for capacity management.

  • Platform Production Management:

    • Troubleshoot issues with applications and support systems;
    • Monitor application health;
    • Manage external systems, including Dynamics 365 and .NET platforms;
    • Manage website and application functionality;
    • Administer UNIX and Linux systems;
    • Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or Microsoft Azure;
    • Manage Windows server environments;
    • Develop, review, and update Method of Procedures (MOP);
    • Analyze and update Service Checklist and preventive maintenance schedules.

  • Level 3 Support:

    • Provide 24x7 incident response for escalated incidents;
    • Investigate and troubleshoot high-severity incidents;
    • Provide regular updates within agreed timeframes;
    • Liaise with next-level support engineers for unfamiliar incidents;
    • Analyze root causes for recorded problems and incidents.

  • Platform Design Solution:

    • Evaluate new platform solutions (products and features);
    • Set up development environments for platform type approvals;
    • Act as a consultant for existing platform solutions;
    • Conduct failure point analysis for cross-platform systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of four years' experience in platform administration and management;
  • Cross-platform administration expertise (Cloud, Linux & Windows; Linux is essential);
  • Bachelor's/College degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, or equivalent;
  • Strong knowledge of system management, including backup/recovery, monitoring, performance tuning, optimization, and hardening;
  • Proficiency across software applications (e.g., Microsoft O365, OutSystems, DotNet, etc.);
  • Familiarity with IT governance frameworks similar to ITIL;
  • Exceptional listening and written/verbal communication skills.
