Job Summary

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations and growth of a global technical support team. The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team of technical support engineers across time zones, driving continuous improvement in our operations and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and grow a team of technical support engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and consistency.
  2. Mentor and coach engineers through technical and non-technical challenges, ensuring they have the necessary skills to succeed.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve ticket quality, communication, and customer satisfaction.
  4. Partner with other supervisors and managers to ensure seamless global operations, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  5. Stay informed about relevant technologies and industry shifts, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements
  • Strong technical depth in Linux and open source databases, with experience managing or leading remote or globally distributed teams.
  • Prior experience as a technical support engineer or DBA, with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to work comfortably across time zones and cultures, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
