Job Description
  • Shipment Management: Ensure timely arrival and departure of shipments across multiple locations. This involves streamlining daily shipment operations to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
  • Customs Documentation Coordination: Prepare and manage necessary customs documentation for international shipments.
  • Carrier Management: Manage relationships with carriers, including rate negotiations and compliance with service agreements.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure all logistics activities comply with international trade regulations and company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in freight forwarding, shipping line, or brokerage firms, locally or internationally.
  • Familiarity with shipping documents (BOLs, AWBs, PKLs, invoices).
  • Detail-oriented with experience in data entry and data validation tasks.
  • Comfortable with modern software, technology, and computer systems.
  • Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS), especially Cargowise or Magaya.
  • Graduate of Customs Administration or similar degree program.
  • Licensed customs broker.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Client management experience is a plus.
