Job Title: Strategic Remote Safety Leader

Job Description:

The company is seeking a skilled professional to lead strategic safety initiatives for remote employees. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for implementing and managing programs that promote occupational safety, health, digital security, and business resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor remote work safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Conduct virtual ergonomic risk assessments and provide guidance on setting up safe, healthy remote workstations.
  • Organize online safety awareness campaigns, training sessions, and wellness initiatives, including mental health support.
  • Investigate and document remote work incidents or hazards, recommending mitigation measures.
Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery:
  • Develop, review, and maintain the company's Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies specific to remote operations.
  • Lead virtual BCP drills, tabletop exercises, and scenario planning.
  • Identify critical remote business functions and dependencies; coordinate recovery efforts during disruptions.
Emergency Response & Crisis Management:
  • Serve as the lead for emergency preparedness, including health crises, cyber incidents, natural disasters, and technical failures.
  • Create and communicate clear remote emergency protocols, including incident reporting and access to support.
Employee Health & Wellness:
  • Promote mental health awareness and wellness programs targeting remote employees.
  • Facilitate virtual health checks, stress management, and work-life balance initiatives.
