Global Business Development Leadership Role
Job Description:The Manager of Global Business Development is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the Business Development team. This includes recruiting and developing talent, exceeding quarterly and annual new business pipeline generation targets, and supporting Business Development Reps through onboarding, ramp up, and ongoing coaching and development.
Key Responsibilities:- Enable the Business Development team to exceed performance targets.
- Expand the team using a foundational plan.
- Support Business Development Reps in their roles.
- Conduct weekly 1:1 review meetings and daily team 'huddles'.
- Certain travel may be required.
- Demonstrable understanding of the Business Development role.
- Expertise in coaching and leading business development teams.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks to successful completion.
- Understanding of information security concepts.
- 4+ years' experience running Business Development or Inside Sales teams.
- 2+ years' experience as a BDR Rep in software industry.
- PC and various software applications experience (e.g., SFDC, Outreach, ZoomInfo).
- Previous experience in Cyber Security advantageous.
