Job Overview

The Functional Architect leads the end-to-end strategic development of solutions from conception to implementation. This individual collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide expert guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle.

They ensure proposed Workday solutions are scalable, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with client goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with pursuit and sales teams to contribute to RFPs/RFIs and provide expert solution guidance.
  • Develop and own effort/budgetary estimations in line with customer requirements.
  • Support the transition from sales to delivery, ensuring continuity of design intent and solution integrity.
  • Provide quality assurance oversight and thought leadership on in-flight implementations.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure cohesive and aligned solution delivery.
  • Lead the functional solution design across the full project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of actual implementation experience.
  • Strong Workday implementation experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively.
