This role supports a U.S.-based healthcare client, requiring strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities.
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding patient care, handling incoming calls, making outbound calls, responding to patient text messages and emails, and managing patient records.
Key Responsibilities:- Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional manner.
- Schedule and reschedule patient appointments according to provider availability.
- Manage patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of patient information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Provide administrative support, handling faxes, uploading documents, and maintaining updated patient records.
- Proven experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in patient coordination or a similar role.
- Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record/Electronic Medical Record systems (EHR/EMR), such as Practice Fusion and AdvancedMD (preferred but not required; training provided).
