Telecommunications System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications System Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, network devices, and software applications specific to the telecommunications environment.
  • Monitor system performance, identify issues, and troubleshoot to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform regular backups, data integrity checks, and disaster recovery measures to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in line with industry-specific compliance and security standards.
  • Provide prompt and effective technical support and resolution for user inquiries and technical issues related to telecommunications systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enforce IT policies and procedures.
  • Conduct system audits to protect against unauthorized access and data breach, taking into account telco-specific vulnerabilities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and troubleshooting steps.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications-specific systems and protocols.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role within the telecommunications industry.
  • Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure tailored for telecommunications, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
