Accounting Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Staff Accountant to provide expert financial support to our clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, maintaining precise general ledgers, managing daily accounting tasks, and assisting in month-end closings.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring timely and compliant financial reporting, adhering to U.S. accounting standards (GAAP).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis
    • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow)
    • Perform journal entries, reconciliations, and ensure accuracy in general ledger accounts
    • Process and review accounts payable and receivable transactions
    • Generate accurate financial reports and analyses for review by clients and senior staff
    • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance reports
    • Maintain up-to-date records and ensure documentation supports reported balances
  • Client Support & Ad Hoc Projects
    • Collaborate with Controllers on income/expense projections
    • Complete reviews of your work and support quality checks for team members
    • Address client queries and deliver timely updates as needed
  • Compliance & Documentation
    • Support compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local accounting regulations
    • Help ensure that bookkeeping and tax-related documentation are audit-ready
  • Administrative & Internal Coordination
    • Track time accurately across multiple client accounts
    • Participate in internal training and team meetings
    • Perform other business-related tasks as assigned by management
