Job Title: Financial Accountant

About the Role

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong background in financial accounting, with expertise in maintaining and updating financial records. This includes ledgers and journals, as well as preparing accurate financial statements and reports for management review.

In addition to these responsibilities, the selected individual will also be responsible for reconciling bank statements, ensuring proper record-keeping practices, and managing accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful applicant will be self-motivated, independent, and thrive in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers and journals.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper record-keeping practices.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions efficiently.
  • Prepare budgets and monitor financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Manage financial consolidation.
  • Provide support during audits and assist with tax filings.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Prior experience in a Big 4 audit/accounting firm.
  • Must have at least 5 years of accounting experience in a multinational financial services company.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Expert in Quickbooks Online/Desktop.
  • Experience in Bill.com and Sage IntAcct strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in ERP/accounting system migration.
  • Strong communication skills, independent, self-starter, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
