Job Overview

The Senior Financial Planning Assistant role involves providing critical support to our team of financial planners as they deliver services to clients across Australia.


Responsibilities
  • Monitoring client investment portfolios ensures alignment with recommended asset allocation, enabling timely adjustments and record-keeping.
  • We prepare recommendations for the adviser on any necessary changes, ensuring seamless advice delivery.
  • Quarterly/annual client performance reports are meticulously prepared to provide actionable insights.
  • SMSF investment strategies are crafted with precision to meet client needs.
  • Liaison with product providers and investment platforms is essential to drive informed decision-making.
  • The client's Work in Progress log/CRM tool is accurately updated and maintained to ensure data integrity.
  • Fees and commissions are thoroughly reconciled to prevent discrepancies.
  • Administration support is provided to clients as required.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree holder in Commerce or Finance is a minimum qualification requirement.
  • At least three years of experience working in Australian financial planning is necessary to succeed in this role.
  • Portfolio management and investments experience is highly desirable.
  • Preparing client portfolio reports is an essential skill.
  • Prior SMSF experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Preferred Skills
  • Xplan experience is beneficial but not essential.
