We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic restaurant server to join our team at Hilton Manila. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a warm welcome to our restaurant.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings, showcasing the quality and variety of our dishes.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly, maintaining a smooth service flow.
- Serve food and beverages to guests with high standards of presentation and quality, exceeding their expectations.
- Check on guests throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction and address any needs, providing timely solutions.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently, upholding the highest level of customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and equipment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and timely order delivery, fostering a positive team environment.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately, maintaining a secure and efficient payment process.
- Adhere to hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and alcohol service guidelines, ensuring compliance and responsibility.
- Assist with special events and promotions as needed, contributing to the success of our hospitality initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with culinary or hospitality training being a plus.
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a hotel or fine dining restaurant is preferred, demonstrating expertise and adaptability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining composure under pressure.
- Proficiency in food and beverage service protocols and knowledge of menu items, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, adapting to changing schedules and demands.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays or heavy items, maintaining energy and endurance.
