Job Overview

As a key member of our finance team, this role is centered on managing cash inflows and ensuring accurate payment allocation across various platforms. Building strong relationships with customers relies heavily on timely and efficient receipt verification.

Centralizing accounts receivable functions and integrating high-volume acquisitions into a shared services center is also a crucial aspect of this position. It involves ongoing cash reconciliation processes and driving process automation and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Timely cash posting from multiple banks and financial institutions.
  • Daily cash posting from lock boxes.
  • Monthly or weekly cash-to-accounting reconciliations for seamless data synchronization.
  • Developing an optimized reconciliation process around the lock box system for maximum efficiency.
  • Providing detailed reports on cash receipts and volumes to inform strategic decisions.
  • Updating customer remittance information upon reviewing remittance details.
  • Resolving account discrepancies in a timely manner through thorough investigations.
  • Maintaining effective communication with customers, billing colleagues, and account managers.
  • Establishing regular reporting cadence to direct supervisor.
  • Collaborating with account managers and senior management to resolve customer complaints or payment issues.
Work Setup / Schedule
  • Remote work arrangement.
  • Flexible working hours between 9 PM – 6 AM (PH time).
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, including collections and contract management, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Familiarity with accounting systems like Microsoft Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, and ConnectWise.
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Passion for process automation and scalability.
