Global Cash Collector Role

This is a critical position within our global team, responsible for efficiently collecting cash from customers across various regions. The role requires effective communication with customers to facilitate timely payments and maintain positive relationships, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage a high-volume multi-currency ledger, adhering to agreed-upon terms.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships, considering cultural and regional differences, while enforcing agreed terms.
  • Handle queries and investigations, collaborating with other departments to ensure swift resolutions and efficient OTC flow.
  • Cash allocation, identifying payments and categorizing short-paid reasons for resolution within the month of payment received.
  • Process final notices sensitively, working with internal stakeholders, and taking appropriate actions in cases of non-payment, including account closure and service termination.
  • Ensure all document processes are followed and approvals adhered to at all times.
  • Enable the business to meet its cash collection targets and needs.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' proven track record of successful cash collecting in a busy global AR team.
  • Tenacious and professionally assertive.
  • Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with accounting systems (preferably NetSuite).
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills and relationship building.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills, prioritizing and managing workload involving multiple tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • A self-starter and proactive thinker.
