Trade Lifecycle Manager III Role Summary

This is a key position for an experienced Trade Lifecycle Manager with strong leadership skills to oversee the management of custody trades.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the workflow and lifecycle of custody trades, ensuring smooth operations and control within the team. They will also monitor and manage trade capture, fails management, and settlement activities, addressing discrepancies and responding to queries promptly.

Additionally, the individual will maximize team capacity through effective resource planning, training, and succession planning to ensure a robust team structure. They will communicate strategic and regulatory changes to the department, ensuring staff awareness and understanding.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of management experience in an Operations role, demonstrating strong people management skills in a team-oriented environment.
  • Operational subject matter expertise in Settlements, Fails Management, Trade Support, Risk and Control, and Custody.
  • Strong ability to learn and adapt to new markets, products, and processes continuously.
  • Strong risk and control awareness, with the ability to prioritize workloads and meet critical deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of partnering with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives and subject matter experts.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently identify and escalate key issues, analyze information, and develop actionable recommendations.
