Drive growth and expansion by securing key research partnerships. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in identifying high-priority contacts, establishing connections, and facilitating analyst briefings.

About the Role

We are seeking an individual with exceptional communication skills and a proven track record in business development or sales development to join our team. Your primary focus will be on generating outbound leads, building relationships with prospects, and coordinating briefing sessions to showcase our research capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Outreach and Engagement: Identify and contact potential research contacts through email, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels, build initial relationships, and coordinate briefing sessions.
  • Sales Process Coordination: Qualify leads, structure the sales process, and ensure a seamless transition into the sales pipeline.
  • CRM and Data Management: Maintain our CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and up-to-date information for optimal outreach strategy and sales forecasting.
  • Collaboration and Strategy Development: Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop tactics enhancing top-of-funnel demand and provide feedback on market trends and client needs.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in business development, sales development, or similar roles, preferably in research or advisory services.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to data accuracy within CRM systems.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; interest or experience in digital identity, cybersecurity, or fintech is a plus.
