Reporting Specialist Job Description

A highly analytical and detail-oriented Reporting Specialist with advanced expertise in Power BI and KPI reporting using Excel is required to develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that support strategic decision-making across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Dashboards: Create interactive and informative Power BI dashboards to visualize key business metrics and provide actionable insights.
  • Maintain Reports: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting platforms by creating and maintaining KPI reports using Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and advanced formulas.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable insights that drive business growth.
  • Optimize Data Models: Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability to ensure seamless data analysis and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in reporting, data analysis, or business intelligence.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including KPI dashboards, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formatting, and advanced formulas. Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
Preferred Skills:
  • Bonus Points: Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView). Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS. Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
