Asset Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Asset Manager to oversee the control, tracking, and movement of government and company-owned assets.

This is a nationwide project that requires the ability to travel and take on assignments at various project sites across the country.

  • Maintain and update accurate asset records to ensure compliance with DoD property regulations.
  • Supervise the receipt, inspection, tagging, labeling, and secure storage of equipment.
  • Manage property transfers, including documentation and coordination of related activities.
  • Oversee logistics for site deliveries, staff travel, and equipment movements.
  • Prepare and submit reports for any lost, damaged, or stolen property.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and update the Master Government Property List to ensure accurate asset records.
  2. Supervise the receipt, inspection, tagging, labeling, and secure storage of equipment.
  3. Manage property transfers, including documentation and coordination of related activities.
  4. Oversee logistics for site deliveries, staff travel, and equipment movements.
  5. Prepare and submit reports for any lost, damaged, or stolen property.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align asset management practices.
  7. Conduct routine physical inventories and resolve any identified discrepancies.
  8. Prepare records and documentation to support internal, external, and government audits.
  9. Develop and implement SOPs for effective asset handling, tracking, and control.
  10. Monitor property-related contract requirements to ensure full compliance.
  11. Work closely with procurement, warehousing, and finance teams for end-to-end asset lifecycle coordination.
  12. Keep all property and inventory records accurate and up to date using tracking systems and ERP platforms.
  13. Ensure all government and company assets are correctly tagged, labeled, and stored.
  14. Continuously assess and improve processes to strengthen property accountability and visibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in property and logistics management.
  • Solid understanding of DoD property accountability standards and PIEE platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with inventory control, shipping coordination, and asset transfers.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and asset/property management systems.
  • Ability to support audit processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities and working independently in fast-paced settings.
