Job Description:

As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing recruiting requirements by studying organizational plans and objectives. You will meet with managers to discuss needs for various roles, determine applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and qualifications, and establish relationships with recruiting agencies and sources to efficiently recruit management or professional employees.

  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with external partners, including recruiting agencies and executive recruiters.
  • Conducts interviews with candidates to assess their adaptability to the corporate/shipboard environment and makes recommendations on hiring decisions.
  • Reviews and revises interview questionnaires to ensure they are aligned with market conditions and business needs.
  • Ensures that job descriptions are shared with all candidates and negotiates terms and conditions regarding contract lengths and salary.
  • Makes job offers to approved candidates in accordance with company policy and ensures that all necessary documentation is prepared and approved.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of successful experience in recruiting within a large and complex organization.
  • Proficiency in using advanced recruiting automation, web-based technology, and communication tools.
  • Knowledge of accepted human resource practices and applicable laws governing employment and fair treatment of employees.
  • Proven ability to source talent at all levels across diverse business disciplines.
