Bid Coordinator

The role of a Bid Coordinator is pivotal in supporting the estimating team. This individual manages bid documents, organizes proposal submissions, and coordinates deadlines to ensure all bids are submitted accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and prepare bid packages and proposals for various construction projects.
  • Ensure timely submission of RFPs internally, adhering to requirements set out in request for proposal (RFP) documents.
Document Management:
  • Manage and organize all bid documents, including RFPs, technical specifications, drawings, and other related documents.
  • Verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with submission guidelines.
Team Coordination:
  • Collaborate with project manager, estimators, and team members to gather necessary information and facilitate comprehensive bid preparation.
  • Independently manage workload calendar of assigned region.
  • Meet workload demands and goals while tracking customer contacts and bidding the same project for estimators to send bids to.
Requirements:
  • Construction industry experience is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings is advantageous.
  • Proven track record of multitasking and email organization.
  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • High attention to detail to produce quality documents and ability to work under pressure and demanding deadlines.
  • Positive attitude towards customers and team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated individual who works well in a team environment.
  • Desire to please the customer.
