Asset Manager Role

\

The Asset Manager role plays a pivotal part in overseeing the management, tracking, and movement of government-owned assets. This includes ensuring compliance with DoD property regulations, coordinating logistics, and maintaining accurate asset records.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Maintain and update the Master Government Property List to ensure accurate asset records\
  • Supervise the receipt, inspection, tagging, labeling, and secure storage of equipment\
  • Manage property transfers, including documentation and coordination of related activities\
  • Oversee logistics for site deliveries, staff travel, and equipment movements\
  • Prepare and submit reports for any lost, damaged, or stolen property\
\Requirements:\
  • \
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field\
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in property and logistics management\
  • Solid understanding of DoD property accountability standards and PIEE platforms\
  • Hands-on experience with inventory control, shipping coordination, and asset transfers\

This is a nationwide project, requiring someone who is willing to travel and take on assignments at various project sites across the country.
