Investment Growth Specialist

The Investment Growth Specialist is responsible for expanding the portfolio and revenue of assigned accounts from wealth investment products. This encompasses Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITFs), Mutual Funds, Personal Equity & Retirement Account (PERA) products, fixed income securities, collective investment schemes, and other investment products offered under segregated accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage clients by providing tailored investment advice and solutions to personal and preferred regular clients.
  • Grows the investment assets under management (AUM) and revenue of the segment/clients under the assigned area/s.
  • Acts as account officer for basic segregated accounts (PMA).
  • Develops strong partnerships with branches and preferred relationship managers.
  • Assists RMs in profiling and recommending investment products to clients.
  • Assists RMs in providing market updates.
  • Addresses investment concerns of preferred regular clients.
  • Conducts branch product briefings and serves as subject matter expert (SME) for basic investment training courses.
  • Assists the SIA in conducting reviews for regulatory investment certifications.
  • Conducts Investment 101 and Financial Wellness events and handles client queries and objections during these events.
  • Facilitates account opening of segregated accounts and ensures that the account opening and transactions are properly endorsed to the IS and the other AMTC units.
  • Assists the IS in addressing basic investment concerns of branches and clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Graduate of any 4-year business course from reputable universities.

Mastery of the investment sales process and product matching.

Able knowledge of global market development.

Excellent presentation skills.

Effective communication skills.

Knowledge of relevant risks and policies in managing client accounts and recommending products to clients.

Knowledge on the economic and market environment in recommending investment funds and fixed income instruments to clients.

Able to clearly explain key economic and market developments and their impact to the investment products offered.
