We are looking for an expert in technical support to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist.

About the Role:

The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality technical assistance to staff members, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Support
    • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
    • Configure and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
    • Monitor network performance and ensure network security and connectivity, implementing proactive measures to prevent downtime.
  • Database Support
    • Provide support for database-related issues, ensuring database performance, integrity, and security, by troubleshooting and resolving problems efficiently.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and patching, to ensure data consistency and availability.
    • Assist in database design, development, and optimization as required, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and upgrades.
  • System Support
    • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on servers, desktops, and other devices, using advanced troubleshooting techniques and tools.
    • Ensure regular maintenance and updates of operating systems and applications, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
    • Respond to and resolve technical incidents and service requests in a timely manner, escalating complex issues to third-level support or external vendors when necessary.
    • Document incidents, solutions, and maintain accurate records in the incident management system, providing valuable insights for process improvement.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service and support to all staff members, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations, by communicating effectively and empathetically.
    • Communicate effectively with end-users to understand and resolve their technical issues, fostering a positive user experience.
  • Compliance and Security
    • Assist in implementing and maintaining security protocols to protect sensitive information, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation as required, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and upgrades, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
    • Provide technical support and expertise during project deployments, ensuring successful execution and adoption.
