Job Description:

MakeSense is seeking an experienced Tech Sales Manager to join our team in Manila. As a Tech Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of our team, ensuring they meet our clients' evolving needs. This is a full-time position with a remote role opportunity.

Brief Outline of Purpose and Responsibilities:

  • Help grow the Product sale and Services business.
  • The success of this quota-carrying role will be determined by the candidate's ability to identify new business opportunities, to grow the business, and to establish new strategic relationships in identified verticals
  • Fulfill the role of trusted advisor in the Enterprise Customer Journey and develop strategic partnership between MakeSense and its Customers
  • Account planning & customer relationship management
  • Drive the Sale of MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform / Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc to prospects in target verticals
  • Drive net new specific services bookings by identifying and closing professional services engagements in identified target prospect accounts
  • Develop and maintain an active pipeline of forecasted deals to meet monthly, quarterly and annual quota objectives
  • Accountable for driving the negotiation, contracting, and owning approval processes with the help of the Management as needed
  • Quickly develop strong, positive relationships with new customers by understanding their needs and business objectives
  • Work with prospects to identify pain areas and create blueprints on how MakeSense can help them transform their digital business
  • Work with Internal Pre-sales and Delivery Teams to develop compelling communications to Prospective customers

Experience and Expertise Required

  • A min of 4-5 years' prior experience in enterprise level software consulting or services sales. Typically an ambitious person who believes they are almost ready to lead small sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of the Sales Cycle i.e. Lead Gen - Close - Account Management & Farming, is required
  • Being Trained on consultative sales process is highly welcomed
  • Proven track record for attaining and exceeding annual quota. Knowledge of enterprise software development lifecycle, from a service selling standpoint is essential
  • Digital Marketing industry experience is helpful, as is knowledge of SaaS and Cloud-based offerings
  • Knowledge of large, global field organizations would be a plus
  • Ability to rapidly assess Customer environments from a business process, organizational, and technological perspective, and effectively communicate opportunities for growth
  • Experience working within matrixed teams to identify, document, and close consulting engagements that leverage an enterprise level SaaS offering.
  • Ability to collaborate with Pre Sales, build and execute complex account strategies and sales plays
  • Nurture and develop strong relationships with existing Customers and extend reach within their organizations.
  • Ability to anticipate problems and recommend innovative solutions; achieve customer satisfaction through the sale of sound consulting projects
  • Act as a point of escalation for Customers
  • Excellent team building, verbal and written communication skills, as well as reporting and presentation expertise
  • Knowledge and understanding of SFA / CRM applications
  • Bachelor's degree
