Digital Tech Specialist

We are seeking a Tech Specialist to help with the development and maintenance of basic to advanced software solutions within our Data and Tech team. You will play a key technical role in driving innovation and delivering high-quality projects with minimal supervision. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, leadership, and a proactive approach to solving complex challenges. This is a hybrid position, with at least 1 work day per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Optimize: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications aligned with project requirements.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to ensure seamless integration and operation of software programs.
  • Troubleshoot & Debug: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to continuously improve application performance and functionality.
  • Architect Solutions: Contribute to system architecture decisions and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
  • Continuous Improvement: Analyze user feedback, conduct code reviews, and recommend improvements to enhance software quality.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing and future development efforts.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior team members when necessary.
  • Stay Ahead: Keep up with emerging technologies and propose new tools and methods to improve workflows.

Technical Skills:

  • Languages: Proficient in Python, Django, and Familiarity with PHP, Ruby, Java, or C++ is a plus.
  • Tools: Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience: Proven track record in complex software development projects, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in Analytics and Data Science is a plus but not required.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Web Development background (No code CMS, HTML, PHP, React, Adobe Experience Manager) is a great nice-to-have.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Demonstrated experience in leading technical projects from concept to completion is highly appreciated.
  • 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on back-end or front-end technologies is an advantage.

Projected Salary Range:

Php 35,000 to 45,000 + allowances and other benefits depending on experience and qualifications
