Substitute Instructional Assistant

We are seeking a qualified Substitute Instructional Assistant to provide instruction and care to individual or small groups of students in Special Education classrooms.

This is an excellent opportunity for educators who want to make a positive impact on the lives of our students. As a Substitute Instructional Assistant, you will work closely with certificated teachers to provide support and guidance to students.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing instructional assistance to students in Special Education classrooms
  • Assisting with lesson planning and implementation
  • Maintaining a safe and organized learning environment

You will be working in middle and high schools throughout the district, providing substitute assignments that can range from 5.5 to 6 hours per day.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong commitment to education and a passion for working with students. You should also be able to communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities. A degree in Education or a related field is preferred, but not required.
