Financial Operations Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our financial operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our business.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely reconciliation and reporting.
  • Preparing and filing tax returns in compliance with US, EU, AU, and UK tax laws.
  • Conducting audits to ensure all financial statements meet regulatory standards of the applicable regions.
  • Maintaining and updating accounting records and systems, adhering to local laws and regulations.
  • Generating periodic financial reports and budgets to support strategic decision-making.
  • Handling payroll processing, ensuring tax compliance and timely disbursements.
  • Researching and applying regional accounting and tax updates to ensure company compliance.
  • Performing ad hoc tasks as needed to support the finance team.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience with exposure to US, EU, AU, and/or UK tax regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regional compliance laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Excellent English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tech-savvy with knowledge of tools like MS Excel, cloud-based accounting platforms, and tax preparation software.
