Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This position involves managing financial records, preparing taxes, and providing expert advice on financial compliance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bookkeeping and tax regulations to ensure financial health.

Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping Duties:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients
    • Record daily financial transactions and reconcile bank statements
    • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
  • Tax Preparation:
    • Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and deadlines
    • Advise clients on tax-saving strategies and financial planning
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement
    • Provide recommendations for budgeting, forecasting, and financial management
  • Client Consultation:
    • Communicate effectively with clients regarding their financial situation and tax obligations
    • Address client inquiries and provide solutions related to tax and bookkeeping issues
  • Administrative Support:
    • Organize and maintain financial documents
    • Collaborate with other team members to support overall financial operations

Requirements:

  • Bookkeeping experience with a strong focus on tax preparation and compliance
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar
  • Knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not required
