Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to assume the role of Financial Operations Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing financial analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process using accounting software.
  • Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month.
  • Process accounts receivable and payable efficiently.
  • Handle monthly payroll operations accurately.
  • Compile, analyze, and report financial data effectively.
  • Create periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
  • Present financial data to senior management.
  • Monitor financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records diligently.
  • Perform audits and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA) or a related field is required.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping software is essential.
  • At least one year of US Payroll experience and working remotely as an accountant is necessary.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail are crucial.
  • Understanding of mathematics and accounting principles including financial processes is required.
  • Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or MYOB is desirable.
  • Ethical behavior is expected.
