Job Title: Onsite Technical Specialist

The onsite technical specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless IT operations by providing expert technical assistance to end-users, troubleshooting complex hardware, software, and network issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via various channels, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and driving issue resolution.
  • Diagnose and resolve intricate hardware, software, and network problems through meticulous analysis and effective problem-solving strategies.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer components and software applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Perform routine hardware maintenance, such as cleaning, upgrades, and component replacement, to prevent equipment failure and minimize downtime.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of network devices, ensuring secure and efficient data transmission.
  • Implement and enforce robust security measures to protect systems and data from potential threats, maintaining the highest level of data integrity.
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory, facilitating efficient tracking and procurement.
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in providing onsite technical support, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex hardware, software, and network issues, with a solid understanding of root cause analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS) and common software applications, with expertise in integration and optimization.
  • Familiarity with basic network concepts and protocols, including Wi-Fi and VPN configurations.
  • Experience with ticketing tools (preferably ServiceNow), with proficiency in workflow automation and report generation.
