Paraplanning Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paraplanner to join our team in preparing and implementing financial plans for clients. This role requires close collaboration with Advisors to deliver high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Advisors in crafting comprehensive financial plans tailored to client needs and goals
  • Conduct in-depth research on insurance products, financial concepts, superannuation, and tax strategies to inform plan development
  • Prepare and analyze financial needs analysis reports to support the creation of personalized financial plans
  • Collaborate with Advisors to identify optimal investment strategies based on client requirements and objectives
  • Attend client meetings with Advisors to present and review financial plans, ensuring seamless communication
  • Work closely with clients to gather essential financial information and documents
  • Develop a strong understanding of legal documents related to insurance products, enabling informed decision-making
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information within our database system

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Paraplanner or similar role in the insurance industry is preferred
  • Accounting or related experience is highly advantageous
  • Strong numerical and logical reasoning skills, with proficiency in mathematical calculations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear and concise language
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and MS Office, with expertise in data analysis and presentation
  • Meticulous attention to detail, particularly in calculations and materials prepared
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative when needed
