We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Para Planner to join our team. The role is based in Phillipines and is perfect for someone ready to contribute to a thriving organisation in a senior capacity.

The Role:

As a Senior Para Planner, you will play a pivotal role in our financial planning process. Your responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Planning: Preparing and reviewing comprehensive financial projections.
  • Technical Expertise: Providing advice on insurance, superannuation, and SMSFs with in-depth understanding of the Australian financial advice landscape.
  • Accuracy and Detail: Ensuring all Statements of Advice (SoAs) are prepared accurately and in compliance with regulations.
  • Software Proficiency: Using XPLAN to manage and document financial planning tasks.
  • Leadership: Delegating tasks effectively and mentoring junior team members to enhance team performance.
  • Collaboration: Spending one week per quarter in a shared office environment while working from home the rest of the time.

About You:

We're looking for someone with:

  • At least 5 years of financial planning experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with strong numerical skills.
  • Expertise in the Australian financial advice landscape, including relevant regulations and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in Advisor Logic and the ability to navigate financial software efficiently.
  • A proven ability to review and ensure accuracy in SoAs and other deliverables.
  • Leadership skills and experience delegating and mentoring a team.
  • A commitment to the financial planning industry and a desire to build on existing skills in a senior role.
  • Availability to travel to a shared office in Cebu four times a year for collaborative work weeks.
