Financial Planning Analyst Role

As a vital member of our organization, the Senior Financial Planning Analyst plays a key role in maintaining and improving financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

This position requires a strong background in finance, accounting, or related fields, with 2-4 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic planning.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract and reconcile financial data from various sources.

  • Maintain and improve financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results to identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support the annual budget and quarterly reforecast processes using Planful.
  • Partner with department heads to understand key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Build dashboards and reports to monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Extract and reconcile financial data from Sage and Planful for variance analysis and management reporting.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to support business decisions.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic planning.
  • Strong proficiency with FP&A tools for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Experience working with accounting software for GL and transactional data.
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
