Job Description

The Supply Planning Lead is responsible for spearheading the Supply Planning team, overseeing workforce allocation and capacity management across multiple programs/accounts. This role ensures the right number of resources are assigned at the right time to meet operational demands, factoring in planned and unplanned absenteeism, productivity trends, and forecasted requirements.

As a strategic planner and people leader, the manager balances hands-on workforce management expertise with the coaching, development, and performance management of Supply Planning Specialists/Analysts.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead tracking and support of the allocation of work, auditing and administration of supply and physical capacity across complex operations.
  • Monitor capacity utilization, identify gaps, and recommend adjustments to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Partner with Operations to understand staffing requirements and ensure optimal full-time equivalent (FTE) coverage.
  • Track and record allocation of programs across footprint ensuring end-to-end system coordination.
  • Provide timely responses to supply inquiries and proactively create opportunities for capacity creation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's Degree preferred).

8+ years of experience in operations, preferably in technology industry.

5+ years of people management experience, including managing leaders, and a strong desire to develop team members.
