Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in collecting rent and providing excellent customer service to tenants.

Responsibilities
  • Rent Collection: Initiate and follow up on rent payment reminders, ensuring timely payments
  • Communication: Engage with tenants via phone, email, or messaging platforms to discuss payment issues, establish payment plans, and provide assistance when needed
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all rent payments, payment plans, and communication logs in our system
  • Dispute Resolution: Work collaboratively with tenants to resolve any disputes or questions related to their rent payments or leases
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to management regarding outstanding payments, collection efforts, and tenant interactions
Requirements
  • Previous experience in rent collection, property management, or a related field preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a focus on customer service
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively
  • Proficiency in property management software or databases is a plus
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy when dealing with tenants
