Job Overview

This Operations Director role offers a challenging opportunity to lead the day-to-day activities of our Business Unit.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing product and service delivery, Turn Times, SLA Adherence, revenue recognition and growth, expense and cost control, financial goal management, group profitability, customer interaction, and efficiency metrics.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve business efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Analyze and evaluate business procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Implement policies and procedures to enhance day-to-day operations.

  • Plan, direct, control, and evaluate budgets to achieve revenue and financial goals.

  • Direct and improve customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.

  • Ensure BU operations meet customer expectations.

  • Establish performance goals and allocate resources effectively.

  • Demonstrate successful execution of department strategies for products and services.

  • Manage relationships with external partners and vendors.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • 12-15 years of progressive Operations experience in a multinational organization.

  • At least 5 years of experience in Mortgage Operations in the origination market, Credit Assessment, Underwriting, or similar role.

  • Demonstrated ability to execute plans and projects within budget and timeframes.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong credibility with internal clients.

  • Effective executive presence and influencing skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Process management and data-driven decision making.

  • Extensive understanding of applicable compliance requirements.

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
