Summary Description

Working with an emerging shared services organization, the Senior Specialist is responsible for delivering the mandates of the Special Operations Team. This team tackles time-sensitive and mission-critical operational imperatives from Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report processes. They use their specialized skills to efficiently relieve operational teams facing capacity issues, support major periodic transitions, investigate and resolve escalated issues, and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers. The team reports to the Cebu Site Director with Senior Managers as key stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  1. Act as immediate relief to DBS functions experiencing organizational capacity challenges.
  2. Assist the Senior Team Lead in assessing resource planning.
  3. Support Managers/Senior Managers in activities aimed at improving quality.
  4. Help stabilize operations.
  5. Identify process improvements and communicate to process Managers.
  6. Review team capacity and utilization periodically.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy; CPA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in end-to-end finance processes (AP, AR & GL, FA, Intercompany & Lease).
  • At least 3+ years in a shared services environment.
  • Experience with US GAAP and IFRS, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Intercompany Accounting.
  • Proficient with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, macros).
  • Six Sigma training is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint and web-based tools.
