Job Details

We are seeking a meticulous Payroll Billing Specialist to oversee critical payroll and billing processes. Responsibilities include processing time worked for temporary workers, ensuring accurate data entry into payroll and billing software, and assisting with creating and distributing customer invoices and reports.

This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a background in payroll or accounting. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to handle multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform payroll processing tasks such as processing time worked, data entry, verifying payroll data, and ensuring compliance with laws and policies.
  2. Assist the billing department with generating, reviewing, and distributing customer invoices, maintaining billing records, and resolving billing discrepancies.
  3. Compile, verify, and review data from multiple sources for accuracy, and maintain records in payroll and billing systems.
  4. Safeguard sensitive information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, provide updates to management, and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in payroll, billing, or accounting roles.
  • Experience in staffing or temporary labor industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of payroll compliance and tax regulations preferred.
  • Proficiency in payroll and billing software, Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with time-tracking systems and accounting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work independently in a remote environment.
