Accounting Specialist

FinStrat Management is seeking a motivated individual to support our accounting operations and financial reporting as a remote Accounting Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with monthly financial close and related activities for clients, including analysis and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Manage clients' accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
  • Process clients' accounts payable, including approval workflows.
  • Address client and third-party inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all assignments meet the firm's quality standards and provide exceptional client service.
RequirementsProfessional Background
  • Proficiency with web-based accounting software applications and account reconciliation.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, accruals, and prepaid expense management.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with accounting principles.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online is required.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • Able to handle multiple engagements simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to receive constructive feedback.
Education and Qualifications
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance, or relevant work experience.
